Blog

I’ve always loved writing, which is why I went to school originally for journalism. Since then, I’ve been journaling and writing (primarily to myself) for years. My philosophy is, “if you’ve got to go through it, you might as well grow through it.” As such, I make a point to be intentional about capturing lessons from my experiences. Below are previous blogs of lessons captured along the way.

But, earlier this year, in reconnecting with myself and what brings me joy and fulfillment, I stopped dabbling with writing and re-committed to my writing practice, by launching a weekly newsletter called the Grounded Leader on LinkedIn. You can read it and subscribe here.

In The Grounded Leader, I share topics, trends, and perspective to help both leaders and individuals stay grounded and reconnect with their purpose and people by practicing self-leadership.
Please check it out, and let me know what you think! The rising tide lifts all boats!

The change that summer brings with schedules, kids’ camps, vacations, etc., can make for fun memories, but if you’re anything like me, it can also create disruption that makes it hard to maintain a rhythm or routine. I don’t find it to be easier or harder, but rather different. Usually

As a journalism undergrad and recovering perfectionist, I am guilty of being one of those people who has an invisible red pen in my head, and silently corrects grammar and typos as I see and hear them. If you’re not one of those people, you probably know someone who is!
